We had an AMAZING day in Canning, celebrating Bella’s birthday! 
I visited Bella’s Girl Guide group earlier this year, and she was so excited to share the experience with her friends, and her Dad, in particular… and warm Dad to the idea of a pet snake, perhaps? 
We saw a TON of courage that afternoon! It so wonderful to see kids overcoming their anxieties but it’s much harder for adults, who have been cultivating their fear for a lifetime, but Dad was up to the challenge! 
I was so proud of everyone who pushed themselves, and soon we were all relaxing and cuddling with snakes! 
People are always surprised at how relaxed & casual an afternoon with snakes can be. Of course, Robert was disrespecting personal boundaries and Alice was on top of heads, but they loved every minute of the madness and had a difficult time saying goodbye to their favourites.

Marsha & I also got to spend a little time with two of the cutest, sweetest puppers ever!
