We had a fantastic time with the first of three sessions for Evangeline Middle School hosted by New Minas Baptist Church! There was some anxiety, but most quickly saw how adorable snakes can be.
Just a few pics for privacy (except our good friend Zoe), but almost everyone fell in love with the longbabies! I love educating about theses animals, but all the facts I spout are meaningless trivia… until you make a personal connection with “Daisy.” 
I believe that teaching people to love one of nature’s most reviled creatures can fuel a fascination with the entire natural world. Kids who love our planet will make a better future for us all.

So, yes… I want you to marvel at the wonders of the quadrate bone but, more importantly, I want you to fall in love with an individual with a personality, like Robert, so that you see ALL creatures that way… not “good” or “bad,” just individuals with their own wacky quirks.
