We had an absolute blast celebrating Garrett’s birthday at Sunken Lake on Saturday!
They were quite tentative at first, but soon fell in love with the longbabies. 
Mom was quite adamant that she wouldn’t be handling any snakes, but the minute I turned around to check on everyone, she was caressing Wilson the ball python in her arms. 
Dave (Honduran milksnake) and Robert (corn snake) were trouble, as usual, trying to slip into sleeves and collars, but this gang was all about it! This was also the first outing for Katie, one of my Kenyan sand boas, and she did so well. She was such a good first-step for those who find the larger snakes a little intimidating. Pretty soon, everyone was cuddling their favourites and were loathe to say goodbye to them.
