A great time celebrating Rowan’s birthday in New Minas this afternoon! It was a brand new experience for everyone, but it didn’t take long for most to get some snake-cuddles. 
It was also the very first time the kids got to play with Steve, our Mexican black kingsnake! 
He already had a great temperament, so all I needed to teach him was that handling-time is never feeding time, and he’s been a dream to handle ever since! He was so good with the kids, I’m so proud of him!
