A great time in Three Mile Plains this afternoon with a small group of friends & family, celebrating the belated birthday of Branden! Hurricane Fiona postponed us, then the poor lad broke some bones, but they still didn’t stop us from having lots of fun with snakes! 🐍🥳
Our host, Elaine, is an old friend who suffers ophidiophobia and she took a HUGE step in touching a snake… but then my jaw hit the floor when she decided to hold Wilson the ball python! 😱 After seeing her amazing courage, EVERYONE needed to have a try! 😁 This outing also featured a surprise guest appearance by my baby Honduran milksnake, Dave! He’s too young to be handled by children yet, but it was a treat to show off his brilliant colour.
Everyone was so gentle & considerate with the snakes, and I think we may even have some future snake-whisperers in this bunch. 😉 Thank you SO MUCH for the invitation! The opportunity to share my love for these creatures with you mean everything to me. ❤
